1:10 GP Touring Car was settled  first time starting from this year by JMRCA as Japan championship.
There is two class which is "Sorts" and "Open" class.  The qualification for "Sports" class will be
the driver who dose not have winning experience (higher than 10th ranking) within the past five years
(from 1998-2002 for this year) at the Japan championship by JMRCA including all the categories.
81 drivers who qualified the district qualification (11 district in Japan) was joined this championship.
53 drivers used Mugen MTX-3 for this championship.
1:10 Touring Car Japan Championship "Open Class" will be held from Oct 18-19 at Hokusei Circuit.
